About the Role
Point One Architects is seeking a full-time Architectural Designer / Architectural Production Professional to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a motivated individual with 3–5 years of professional experience who enjoys producing high-quality construction documents and developing practical, buildable design solutions.
The ideal candidate will have experience in both exterior and interior architecture, a strong understanding of construction methods and building systems, and the ability to translate design concepts into accurate and coordinated construction documentation. Candidates with hands-on construction experience or a strong understanding of constructability are highly encouraged to apply.
This is an in-office position located in our Old Lyme, CT office and is not available for remote work. You'll work closely with our team in a collaborative studio environment and have the opportunity to contribute to projects from design through construction.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and coordinate architectural construction documents using Revit
- Develop drawing sets from schematic design through construction documents
- Assist with detailing, code research, and consultant coordination
- Participate in project meetings and coordination with clients, contractors, and consultants
- Support administration efforts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch preferred)
- 3–5 years of professional architectural experience
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of building construction, detailing, and constructability
- Experience producing construction documents for commercial or residential projects
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Adobe Creative Suite experience and/or LEED accreditation are a plus
